香港騎術學會簡介:

香港騎術學會於2009年由資深騎術教練 : 歐陽紹文先生 與其學員成立。學會的宗旨是希望令更多人有機會接觸馬術運動,從學習騎術的過程中建立自信及得到樂趣。 為使各界騎馬愛好者能眾首一堂,互相交流心得,本會將定期舉辦外遊騎馬活動,以擴闊騎者的視野和體驗。歡迎各界騎馬愛好者參加。 

馬術運動

「馬術運動」是一項人與馬匹溝通、結合力與美的運動。它可訓練人的平衡性、韻律感、柔軟度和腦部的反應。騎乘時集合全身運動有助於臀部和腿肌肉的緊縮,能消耗 大量熱能和脂肪,可說是一項絕佳的塑身方法。藉由人和馬配合進行產生的動作,能增進騎乘者的呼吸與血液循環,對內臟器官有很大幫助,從而達到強身的效果。 大多數人因工作或讀書時姿勢不良所引起的腰酸背痛,其實是可透過騎馬加以矯正。馬術運動也有復健治療之效能,它可預防及改善僵直性脊錐炎、避免生長骨刺, 所以已被醫學界列入為療程方法之一。

Introduction

Hong Kong Horse Riding Society (HKHRS) was founded by Mr. Au Yeung Siu Man Tommy, a senior riding instructor, and his students in 2009. HKHRS endeavors to promote equestrian in Hong Kong. Riders can enhance thier confidence and gain enjoyable experience through horseback riding practice. To enhace the sharing among riders, HKHRS is planning to organize regular gatherings such as outward bound riding activities. Riders from different organizations are welcomed to join us. 

Equestrian Sports

Equestrian is a kind of sport that requires communication and hamony between the rider and the horse, together with force and esthetics. Horseback riders practise their balance, rhythm, body softness and brain's reaction during riding activity. Equestrian sports is an excellent exercise for slimming as it trains the rider's hips, thighs and legs muscles. It also helps increase blood circulation, strengthen health and improve wrong posture.  It is medically proven to be an effective rehabilitation therapy for patients who suffer from backbone diseases.
